Gina Sofola, AICP is the President and Principal of Sofola & Associates, Inc and has thirty-six years of experience as an engineering, project management and planning professional. Her experience includes over thirteen years of resource development, brand establishment, and business development; sixteen years of supervisory experience focused on team building, staff development, and identifying “right fit for right function”; over thirty years demonstrated ability in managing planning and design processes, business processes, facility processes, infrastructure build processes,  regulatory issues and governing bodies, and multiple construction projects from inception/ strategic planning through completion, post construction, warranty and asset life cycle. She has a proven ability to complete multi-million-dollar projects on time and within budget. She has managed projects around the country for Fortune 500 Companies, municipalities, agencies, and private developers. She has personally managed projects up to 90 Million in budget size and provided management consultancy to teams managing budgets of up to 14 billion. In addition to her training in the business side of engineering and engineering systems, her training gives her an eye towards how humans interact with the built and work environments. She is interested in urban, environmental, transportation, and international planning issues and has a great passion for urban design that seeks  to optimize the human experience for underserved communities.
